Water Mate Boats has designed passenger boats in Estonia since 2018 — tour boats, water taxis and small ferries, each specified to the route it will run and delivered ready to work.

How the boats get built

Water Mate Boats designs the boats, owns the drawings, specifies each build and stands behind every boat afterwards. Construction is carried out by expert partners — established boat builders in the region, Larsen Boat Yard among them.

Aluminium and HDPE are different trades, so each hull is welded by a yard that specialises in that material.

You sign one contract and deal with one company, from first drawing to delivery.

we ran ourselves

WaterMate boats carry paying passengers on a lake in northern Albania and run children's river trips on the Main in Frankfurt. Two very different operators: one commercial, one funded by donations. That is roughly the spread of who buys these boats.

And for two seasons one of those operators was us. We ran an LR9 as a commercial tour boat on the Danube in Bratislava in 2022 and 2023.

After delivery

Who you call in year four

A commercial buyer asks this early and is right to. You contact us directly — the same people who designed the boat and hold its drawings.

Spare parts

Engine, electronics and deck equipment are standard marine brands with their own European service networks. What is specific to the boat is the hull, and those drawings stay with us.

The documentation

Stability book, general arrangement, structural drawings and equipment certificates are yours on delivery and stay on file with us. When a surveyor asks for something four years later, it exists.

Warranty

One warranty for the whole boat, held by us.
